Shine, copper isn't expensive at all! It isn't as cheap as PVC (pvc is damn near free!) but it isn't like brass pipe, now THAT is some expensive stuff! I did a short 18" section with a few elbows and it was $65!

But copper would only cost you $250-300 with all the fittings!
