Quick update on this ppg roll on primer. I found locally that it was stocked, so I was considering it.
I checked with the body shop who will likely paint my car, to get their opinion.
He smiled and said to stay away from it. They tried it for a couple of months at their shop, and had adhesion problems (primer would flake off) and had a number of cars come back with paint which flaked off a year or more into the paint job.
So I am glad I asked, since I am doing a whole car and they only are doing spot repairs
