I might be able to get some pics tomorrow of a car 2 houses down from me. This neighbor does showcar paint out of his home. The latest one floored me, so I stopped in to meet him.
He said he self-taught himself the flame technique 2 years ago.
This car came back yesterday for final buff. 69 Dart 440 mega built, black with new age flames. The flames even "pop out" in small spots, on doors and quarters.
I need to ask him about the clear; some new product that supposed to eliminate those micro swirl scratches you get just from washing or wiping a jet black showcar. He said it's self healing in the sun??? I'll try to get info.
