Hauling some fenders and hood a long way?

Hey guys, well, finally it has came, mostly, I have my fenders and hood, had to put them in the truck and haul them from KS to GA, with fresh paint. So getting them here in pristine condition was of concern.

Unfortunatly for the holiday I wasnt able to go home, was offered a nice job over the holiday I couldnt refuse.

So my step dad and mom went back to KS in the truck, instead of a Plane for me.

Over that time my step dad got together with my uncle (who finished my hood and fenders for me) to build a rack to haul them on the journey. This thing is pretty cool.....thought you guys might want to check it out. Worked out nice because they actually bolt onto this wooden rack as if they were on a car, so its all secure. Then the rack was secured to the truck with some rope and some strategically tied sailors knots that I have no idea how to replicate, thats the step dads doin's.

Anyway, here's the link.

Yep, arrived here at the house without a single scratch, chip, or dent.....over 900 miles

It brings a tear to my eye knowing my car is almost ready to be driven......I'm going to raise some hell when I get it tagged.
