Have I damaged my new vacuum gauge?

I accidently managed to loosen the port nut a bit when I fastened the vaccum hose to my new Autometer mechanical vacuum gauge.
The instructions say this may damage the gauge.

How likely is it that I have damaged it? It loosened a bit and I fastened it again right away. Didn't read the instructions good enough and wasn't aware of this.

Looks like it survived. Did a test start. It certainly not read too low.

It's not a nut that holds the internal in place. Judging from the instructions it's a nut that seals the vacuum from the hose.
I suppose a leak would make the gauge read too low vaccum.
On idle (ca 750 rpm) it read ca 20 hg.
