Having looked everywhere

I am askinfg for your help. Been through the knowledge base, and various outh site. Problem My 1988 1 ton will not accept GM Dually "BUD" rims. Same bolt and center hole pattern, they will not clear or fit over the brake drum. Please advise asap.
Thank you very much.

don't think it uses budd wheels. they used the same rims front and rear i think and only used a standard lug nut with maybe a plate over the outside for the lug nut. just my experiences with only a couple older 1 ton trucks

You could get a dually axle, but then you would also have to relocate the shock mounts. DRW axles have the shocks staggered opposite of a SRW axle (example: one axle has left shock forward and right rearward, and the other is the opposite). I learned this the hard way.
