Head Bolt Torque (ford-y-block)
Again I Need Some Help With My 312 Ford Engine. I Removed Both Heads Because I Had A Stuck Valve On One Of The Heads, While I Was There I Lapped In All The Valves & Put New Valve Seals In. Now Its Time To Install The Heads & I Looked Up The Head Bolt Torque One Book Tells Me The Torque Is 55ft.lbs. 2nd. Is 65 Ft. Lbs. & Last Torque Is 75ft. Lbs. Hot. Another Book Tells Me 1st. Torque Is 70ft. Lbs., 2nd Is 80ft.lbs. & Last Is 90ft. Lbs. Hot.could Someone Please Help Me Out, Before I Damage Something. Thanks For The Help Headache

Don't tighten those bolts too much, remember it's a Ford! Sorry, I just had to say it...
