head bolts

I have a 1988 f150 4.9 liter straight 6 can head bolts in this engine be reused.

I would just replace them with an ARP head stud kit.

Much cheaper to re-use the original bolts. Which is common practice.

Yes. They are intended for re use . They are NOT torque to yield bolts.Look at them real good for signs of stretching and if they pass re use them.
Usually if they strech (not common on 4.9 ford) the shank area will have a spot that is skinnier than the rest of the bolt.
