Seepage?? If it's a street car don't use head studs. Race, I say go for it. On a street car when removing the heads you may run into brake booster & A/C interference etc. Studs do offer the best clamping method. It just depends on if they're applicable. I don't think they're really needed unles you're using plenty of Nitrous or Boost.
