Post head gasket question

i have a question on some Fel-pro head gaskets for a SBC, i normally run the famous blue felpro head gasket from the parts store i believe it is .051" thick and i now have the high performance Fel-pro head gasket and its .041" thick will this make me gain just a hair more in compression or nothing really at all?
