I fully agree with Cobalt. Your leak looks to be coming from the top end of the engine. Of all the sbc`s I`ve worked on, and other engines in general and rebuilt engines I`ve did I`ve never seen one leak oil at the head gasket but I`ve seen way more than my share leak oil at the valve cover gaskets on the old school parimeter bolt valve covers.
