Head light probem ?

96 Jeep Cherokee sport ,4wd in line 6. automatic
Headlight come on, on dim they well shine for about 1 min. then go off for about 5 sec. then come back on for about 20 sec. then off again, and it continues like this. If I turn them to bright ( by pulling the turn signal switch up), they won't stand on unless I hold the switch up, if I release it they go off. By the way the turn signal don;t work, and the indicator light's on the dash don't come on at all. I've changed the switch and it didn't help.
It act like it has an in-line thermo over load which resets its self, kind of like a flasher would work.Need some help, I almost ball. thanks

Check your relays, I spent a whole weekend once trying to troubleshoot a horn on a jeep cherokee that ended up haing an intermittently faulty relay. Also check the grounds from the relays, I've worked on 2 Jeep cherokees that both had loose grounds from the underhood fusebox.
