Head Lights

Hey guys I cant find any headlights for my truck (1990 F-250) that i like so im gonna make my own. Im going put HIDs projectors and the original hologens in the lamps along with some halos and other accents like that in them but when i looked up lense material i found that Polycarbinate was and im guessing is still used for lenses by manufactures. Unfortionately it turns yellow over time.

My question is is there another durable plastic that would be less suseptable to that darn yellow? also any ideas on better or brighter choices of lights?

all the headlights are made of plastic anymore---these require bufffing about every 3 months -- even a little sanding w/600 paper before--then go to paint supplier ,and ask for "XTRA CUT" compound--and buff

t'v got a site that i'v used a couple times, also in your area --pull up "crashparts.com"
here's another for about 30 a lite

good luck..........steven

Vince (302z28) turned us on to a cheap buffing agent, toothpaste. I used it, the white type of crest will work fine, no gels, and use it sparingly.
