Header choice for 55 chevy truck.
I am building a 2nd series 55 truck with a mustang II front end and chevy 350 to a 700r4. Does anyone have any advice on which headers will fit best in this setup? Other than the steering shaft, it appears wide open, just don't want to do this more than once.
If any further info is needed just shout. Thanks for any help Jeff

Jeff, I went with shorty headers for a early nova on my 51 chevy with a 350. My thought was if they fit a tight engine compartment like a nova, the 51 engine compartment would be no problem. Also with shortys I didn't have to worry about where the full length headers would be in relation to the floor pan. Good luck.
