header gasket help
I am installing my Herman headers tomorrow on my profiler heads. My question is the exhaust ports are d shaped and the primaries are oval shaped. Should I use the gaskets which came with the headers which will partially be in the exhaust path or should I get a set of gaskets that are the same size as the exhaust port

Honestly....you should have gotten a set of headers that fit your exhaust ports but I would use the D port gaskets.

The port and the header primary are the same size just not exactly the same shape on the bottom of the primary tube
|
