[Crazy d]

Hi i have a major problem with header gaskets the ones i got with the headers last year are oval and all the others ones we tried where square or round.Problem is the do not fit properly always leaks.The headers are hedman i got a set from them waited a week they are small round no good.
sbc 350 can not find any thing to fit.The # on the old ones is only the gasket composition and not a part # screwded big time...
Maybe one of you can help me if not i will have to make my own.

I've found that them square ones suck bigtime.They last about a week.
I use them round hole Mr.Gasket ones with good luck.
Another thats sposed to be an excelant seal,is them blue fel-pro ones.
If you can't get any of them sealing check your flanges for straitness and for rough welds were the tube is welded to the flange,if its rough file it smooth.
I've also heard that cutting the flange inbetween tubes makes each tube seal better to the head,cause of the independeant seal each tube gets.
