What is the best heater Gaskets For Finder wlll headers with Plates, it burning thru in the center flange. I am running methnane or alcohal as fule.

I have no trouble with those perforated metal composite type that they supply in the gasket kits. I put high temp silicone (smear) both sides, nip em up most of the way, let it set and fully tighten. Check when cold 3 or 4 times and then occasionally. Keep em tight.
But the MOST IMPORTANT thing, make sure the flange on the header is STRAIGHT!!! Mine had a .100" bow in the middle, no way I could get em to seal. So I filled it up with weld, the ground it, belt sanded it, check with straight edge until it was straight. .....No leaks now!

I feel that so long as your surfaces are straight, pretty much any type gasket would do the job. Keep a check on the bolts....

I run copper, aluminum or carbon/carbon especially with alky. That stuff (alky) burns slower than gasoline which puts a lot of temp into the exhaust. You may want to play with more ignition lead and/or more compression to force the burn to get over with before the exhust valve opens. You may find that an external coolant hose from the pump ears into the heads under and between the paired exhaust valves will help take some heat out of this spot. The head kind of warps in this area which makes life as an exhaust to header or header adapter gasket quite a bit tougher than on gasoline motors.

I did some searching here on the Hot Rodders site a while back looking for header gasket recommendations and found this thread: how do you pick header gaskets for SBC

That lead my to use stock manifold gaskets on my headers. If you are running stock heads, with stock port configurations, they work just fine right out of the box.

Not sure though how they will work with the fuels you are using.
