header length reversion waves

When the intake valve closes the reversion wave cylces twice before it hits the intake valve just as it is opening. How many reversion wave cycles are there in an exhaust header between when the wave is created at the collector and when it draws fuel and air in to the cylinder during overlap?

That is highly dependant on gas speed and rpm and header length/ etc. etc. etc. You may have 2 reversion reflected waves in between cycles at one rpm and 5 at another...in short there is no solid answer to your question, it varies with setup and tuning .
