I really don't think any of the paint like that last very long, i'm sure some paint is out there that last but i haven't found it yet. Just clean them up the best you can ang go ahead and spray them for now tll the funds come in for the new ones. JMO

11echo...go right back to the VHT website and look at what they have done.....but just like any paint process the preperation is the main issue. If your headers are rusty and or corroded get them sand blasted first then use the VHT ceramic aluminum paint, once they cure it will last for a long time.

I used the header paint from eastwood it didn't last very long. I had a set of long tube headers black ceramic coated inside and out. They are still keeping up good. They come off and on the car several times a year and the get scratched up and they are on a nitrous car. I just touch up the scratches with high temp paint.

most powdercoating shpos have a inexpensive high heat coating they can put on for kinda cheap.
other than that, i say use the VHT or some BBQ paint and touch up as needed.
