K guys seems I've tried the high heat stuff befor and it didn't seem to do much.
A freind of mine that built my headers a few years ago told me that the paint doesn't need to be high heat just regular old spray paint. He said to start the engine idle it till the paint starts smoking pretty good,then shut it off and let it cool.Repeat the process till the headers nolonger smoke and its baked on(as good as painted headers get).
Sound right?? I'm wirewheeling some surface rust down on my headers now and got three cans of flat white ready to go just want to know oppinions befor I paint um up put um on and burn the paint off in 3 seconds..lol

That will work until you actually drive the car more than 2 feet, you can get high temp exhaust spray paint from any parts house that carries the VHT products it works ok however it is not permanant , you can get them ceramic dipped from jethot coatings or you can order ceramic exhaust coating from eastwood and do it yourself permanant coating
