header tube temp

Is this something I need to look in to? My header tube temps are varying. This is the temps 1-400' 3-450' 5-600' 7-330 2-325' 4-470' 6-500' 8-520'

header tube temps

If I did anything, I'd check my valve adjustment. Seems like a looser adjustment would decrease fuel vol. and cause a cooler tube.
I know my old dun-toff cam solid) called for 20 and 20, but I ran them on 12 and 20 and got a better time, can't remember the diff. cause that was 45 yrs. ago.

I think. Your wright I went back and read the info on my heads (eld e-tec 200) I think I need longer push rods I'm not real sure I used comp high energy roller rockers . They said to use .100 longer with stock rockers. I had to set the valves at 0 if I turned them qtr turn more the valves would open I new something wasnt wright but I have never had a hyd. Rollercam before . I was told it would be fine . Guess not.

Lazer gun . I may have more trouble I looked up my camshaft its a Gm 10185071 hyd roller .they don't offer it for a 1997 . But it ln there .

When comparing measurements, make sure you duplicate conditions as closely as possible -- same RPM, same engine temperature, aim the laser at the same locations.

I tried to get as close as I could I think its going to be valves I was only able to set them at zero lash I had a guy tell me I needed longer push rods he checked them and said they needed to be 56 thousands longer I havnt seen any there all a hundredth thousandths longer?
