But if your not looking for big HP gain, then block huggers will almost always fit. |

I have a 38 sedan with a Mustang II type front suspension and use some block huggers from Ebay. Fit with no problem.

Block hugger headers fit with plenty of room

I have a 1937 Chevy pick up. I bought a set of long tubes designed to fit a SBC in a model A chassis. I think they were from Patriot, but couldn't say for sure.

Don't know if shorty is the correct term. I used Patriot ceramic coated hugger headers that dump straight down to the exhaust. My car is low enough that shorty headers would not clear the ground as the collector would be under the car. 2 1/2" exhaust pipe with Flow master 40 mufflers

Headers
Why headers, I have a warmed up 350 in my 48 Chevy with a mustang II front suspension. Unless you are building a race car manifolds work fine, don't leak and clear late model Gm steering. I don't think my engine has ever seen any rpm over 5500 so all headers would do is make noise, of course I'm an old man and like to cruse and stomp on it once in awhile and the car is fast enough for me. LOL.
