headers

I just bought some 2242 super comp hooker headers for 87 monte ss. these are a 4 piece header with number 7 and 8 wrapping around outside of frame, couple things. when installing number 7 or 8 when it slips in before collector what are my best options for sealing, cement and tack weld? or band clamp? secondly it appears i may have clearance issues while steering. Any experience out there with them?

If you want to be able to remove them anytime, Anti Seize & Clamp. They'll rust together.
Montecarloss.com & Maliburacing.com have a lot of good Header Info.
