Headers for 50's chevy truck?

Has anyone out there found headers that will fit a 50's chevy 1/2 ton with a small block chevy in it without using a torch,crowbar, large hammer to make them fit.

I have a crossmember and was told the shortty headers would not work as they dump straight down in the center.
I only have 3" measuring from the bottom of the head at the block to the frame [hope that made sense] Been looking for some time now,thought one of you fellows have any ideas.

I can't say if they will fit, but you might look into the shorty headers for a V8 S10 swap. They dump out in the back for the same reason. Hedman makes some try Jegs or Summit. You can also try Sandersonheaders.com $$$$
