Headers for my Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 mega cab and I want to put headers on with deep tone mufflers like flow master, or mega flow,, do i have to replace the oxygen sensor, and are there other parts that I'll need??? what is a good set of headers to use

What I might do first is to toddle on down to the emissions inspection station and ask if installing long tube headers on your truck will be legal. I sort of doubt it.

OK the county i live in, in Mo. doesn't require emission check, for that matter I
Could run straight pipes.. thanks for your help

You're thinking too small. Think Federal. I'm sure there are Federal laws that forbid tampering with any emissions equipment on your vehicle. That's why companies advertise "Cat-Back" exhaust systems. Anything you do AFTER the converter is probably o.k., but fooling with the converter or removing it is probably illegal.

What I do and the fellows I pal around with do is to leave our late model vehicles alone and hot rod our older ones that are out of emissions laws.

I suspect you're going to do it anyway, so you'll just have to learn by your mistakes.

Check with Mopar/Dodge Parts to see if they make headers to fit your vehicle. They make them for quite a few of the Hemi powered vehicles
