I've got a ? about my headgasket's, they are a set of .041 felpro's that i've been use'n to set the heads on the block to prevent the cylinder's bore's from rusting while the engine is on the stand for storage, i'm about to put it together soon and just want'a know if they are safe to use or should i buy a new set. There was only one bolt in each head that was finger tight just incase the engine was tilted one side or the other. (I know it may seem like a dumb ? but i was alway's told that the only stupid ? are the one's you dont ask.)

I would be tempted to use them. They haven't been crushed yet.

If they have never been torqued or compressed, they should be fine to re-use in your engine!

That's a different situation....these heads have NOT been torqued down yet.
