Headlight Braces

Can any post a few picks of the location on the frame where the headlight/fender braces mount?

Thanks,

Steve

Steve, the headlights bolt to the front fender brace on the 34's. The fender brace bolts to holes in the frame rail. If you have an IFS some of those holes are covered up. I had to modify the fender brace to go around the IFS mount. I welded a tab on top of the frame drilled and tapped it to capture two bolts for the fender brace.

I'm at work currently, when I get home I will search for some pics, I have them.

Chances are TCI did it when they installed the IFS.

This link gives an idea of what is involved.

Steve, found this in the Hotrodders project journals. Wish I had found this before I modified mine. The end result was the same, but he did a much nicer job of it.

OK, So I think I will need to modify the brace but how do you know how far back to front it should be how do I determine the location on the fender as this would tell me where it needs to be on the frame.
