I want to put in a "hard " headliner in a '47 Ford coupe. Naturally the original had metal bows, and I can't see any way to support the base for the hard headliner except to attach it to the bows. Will this work? Any ideas?
Check out the Knowledge Base or use the search function on this site. There is a lot of info here about interiors and headliners.
As well this thread on another site will give all you need to know about how to do what you trying to do. He doesn't use a hard headliner but what you will have to do to attach it to the top is basically the same and you will get the general idea. It starts at post #18.
Homebrew: Thanks for the help, that article by slipstitch helped a lot. I have a fancier headliner in mind than the one he showed, but I picked up a few pointers.
