Headliner Board Question....

Ok,

I've got a 1983 Cadillac Sedan DeVille that I'm fixing up. Hardly a "HotRod" I know, but hopefully you all can maybe point me in the right direction.

It started out with the all too common "sagging headliner". No prob, I thought, I'll just put up a new one like I've done dozens of times before. Problem is, the molded headliner board absolutely disentigrated as I was removing it. I've never seen anything like this before. It literally turned to dust as I took it out.

No biggie, I'll just find another... HA! appearantly out of hundreds of junkyards called thruought the midwest, not a single one has an '83 Cadillac Sedan DeVille that I can snatch out the headliner board from.

Sooooo... Now I have a car with no headliner board and none to be found. Any ideas how to make or form my own or, better yet, where to possibly find one??

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

If your 83 is a rear wheel drive version you have a few years to choose from,81 to around 90 and possibly back to 77. You could also look at the big buicks and olds of those years too. Jeff
