Headliner gripper strip question on my 49 Fleetline

Could someone please tell me how the gripper strip that holds the headliner on my 49 Fleetline works, It looks like it is held in place with screws, by looking at whats left of my headliner it looks like the headliner comes down and wraps around the gripper strip and hooks to it with small tangs. My question is after you wrap the headliner around the gripper strip how do you put the screws in to hold the strip in place without putting holes in the headliner? It's probably a simple answer but I can't figure it out.

Thanks!

Rodrunner

Those strips are for woven cloth headliner material. First, attach your windlace to the car or truck. Then screw the strip in place BEFORE the headliner goes in. Once the headliner material is in, tuck the material in the crack between the strip and the door frame. The prongs will grip in the weave of the material and hold it in place. The tucking tools on this page will come in pretty handy...http://www.atrim.com/Page56.html

Thanks Kristkustoms!
I think I'll pay someone to put my headliner in.
I got to finish the seats!
