If you want to keep the compression ratio the same, use heads with the same size combustion chamber. Smaller combustion chambers will raise your compression.
If your unsure what size combustion chambers the heads you have on the car now have, remove the valve cover and look find the casting number. It should be a 6-8 digit raised number. Go to www.mortec.com and match the casting number with the ones listed there. This should give you a good idea on what you have and what to replace them with. |
