Which Heads To Get

Hi, i have been thinking of what kind of heads i should use for my motor. i Have a 355 sbc with flat top pistons, bigger cam ( valve lift .447 cam lift .298 ) I have around 1000 dollars to spend give or take a little. Alot of people have been telling me to go with dart iron eagle heads. Im 19 years old and building my 1st car so im pretty new to the whole performance parts and what they really mean. If you could give me any suggestions on what heads would be good to run it would be appreciated and also what specs on the head i should get and if anyone knows any good sites to shop around on it would be appreciated.

Jeremy

Dart Iron Eagle 180's would be a nice head. So would the Edelbrock Performer heads. For that grand you could put GM Vortec heads along with a vortec style manifold also. Any of these options would be nice but the Edelbrocks would be aluminum, maybe just a little more than a grand.

Vortec's, beehive springs (if you want a bigger cam), new intake and money left over. Heads and Springs
