heater core R & R

how is the best way to r & r the heater core on a 1969
camaro with no air conditioner.

I dont know about a camaro but I just put a new heater core in my truck. all I had to do was take out the glovebox and then all the stuff behind it then just changed it. as you can tell i'm not very good at describing how I did it. but?

Thanks for the information on your truck.
I think you are right on bringing it out through the
glove box area. I was in hopes that it could be done via the
engine side of the firewall without removing the fender.
