Heater only run on high 2001 dodge van

I have to check out our 2001 Dodge 15 passenger church van . The HVAC fan will only run on high speed . Does this have a resistor like older vehicles and where would it be located ? I haven't looked at it yet . Just trying to ge a head start . Thanks !

some of them use relays, but I think only with the digital HVAC system

If you have a connector on a firewall accesable fan motor you might check the connection and see if it's dirty or not making good contact by wiggling the connector. Had that problem on my old truck. My 03 GP has the same problem low speed 1-2 doesn't work but 3-5 does. Dealership part's man says resistor is bad and cost's about 50 bucks for a new one.

Found It And Replaced It

The resistor was right on the front of the heater box under the hood just like I hoped it would be . $30.41 with tax from advance auto . Now have all four (4) speeds again .
