Heating question.
Ok this isnt for a hot rod its just somehtign i dont knwo how to fix and need to get fixed. Ok my girlfreind has a 1996 mercury cougar. Now the problem is the heater wont really work. Like she'll turn it on full blast and it will barely blow. it does a very little bit but not like it should be doing. So i wanna know whats wrong if anyone knows. Is It a fuse?. the blower?. is it going to be expensive to fix?. if it is a fuse how is it possible to tell if its blown?

I have had to replace the blower motors in my 94 & 97 Birds.
I have the auto climate in both of them, if the brushes get weak or worn in THIS system that could happen Not too hard to fix---remove glove box and there it is. Same blower for both the auto and manual systems. If the blower is spinning okay-----check for this PLASTIC BAG GETTING SUCKED UP INTO THE INTAKE Happened to me All in all---not too bad to repair----about $40 at Auto Zone/PepBoys/ etc. Bryan |
