got a pro master coil part no. 28720 .



it's going on a stock points distributor .



the car is a 1981 ,so it has HEI in it ,now i wont to switch over to the points, how do i wire it up ?

Other than....WHY?.....................You have to put in a ballast resister or a resister wire to lower the voltage from 12 volts to 7. The wire that goes to your cap now (red), is the one you want. Put it through the voltage drop device and to the coil. The other side of the coil goes to the distributer.

hei wont clear the tunnel ram! i'm getting a Mallory Unilite
soon. i'll take some better pics and mark the wires cuz im still a little confused, and that coil will work ?

so 1# goes to the big red HEI wire , 2# and 3# go together? and the ballast resister or a resister goes betwen 1# and the red HEI wire?
