HEI Troble

My d***b a** brother removed the did. cap removed the wires and now know what color wire goes where and I have a book but it don't say a thing about what color wire goes where?

I'm a rookie...but maybe a description or a pic or some type of identifying data for the cap...maybe just the engine make and size would do?

I can assure you that there will be people on here that will answer your ? very quickly after you provide that info.

typical HEI dist has 5 lugs the 3 closest to the rotor is a plug that comes from the dist. to the cap then there is the power and tach and should be marked so on top of the cap if i'm reading you thread corectly.
