HEI trouble

I have HEI Ing in my street rod had it running afew weeks bach went to start it and the engine turns over but will not fire ihave gas

Check your wiring......see if you have 12 volts to the cap/coil...

HEI trouble

Yes i have 12 volts at dis. How do i troubleshoute the coil and mogule. Is there a way to test these items

Doc here,

To test the module, simply pull it and take it to your nearest auto parts superstore, They will usually test it for free..

have them do it several times to "Heat " it up before they call it good...and If you need to get a new one have it tested too before you leave the store!

about 1 in 5 are bad out of the box.

Don't forget lots of heat sink compound when you put it or a new one back in or it will burn up.
