Question HEI wiring diagram

I'm wanting to convert a 283 over to an HEI distributor and don't know the wiring schematic. Can anybody help out/know of a webpage where HEI info can be found? I have a semi-complete HEI distributor and I'm not sure if it's complete.

The wires coming from the distributor base plug into the distributor cap. A 'hot' wire from the ignition switch (when in the 'on' position) goes to the 'BAT' spade terminal in the cap. Do not use a ballast resistor or a resistor wire. You need full 12 volts to the HEI all the time. The wire that originally went from the starter solenoid 'R' terminal is no longer used. If you have a tach; the wire for it goes to the 'TACH' spade terminal in the cap.
