Hello

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself and my truck.
It's an '84 Chevy short bed step-side, 327CID, 3-spd manual, column-shift (yep, you read correctly with 15x10 Vette-style rallye wheels.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and want to say thanks in advance for all the help and valuable advice I'm sure I will receive from my friends here at Hotrodders.com

Welcome aboard "Eliminator", you've got the right site, lots of good advice, with incredible information and great guys here.

Boy, if I could have a nickel for every 81 to 87 Chev/GMC trucks I've painted....I would have a big bucket full of nickels. I'm originally from Western Canada, if you didn't have 1/2 ton truck out there, they wouldn't allow you in the beer store....LOL

Ruby is about to get a good massage and a fresh coat of Hot Rod black satin finish paint and some old school pin striping......
She won't be the prettiest girl at the ball, but she'll turn a few heads.....
Especially when she makes her voice heard.....
Haha

Great to meet you Ray, my real name is Jerry.
I chose "Eliminator" as a tip o' my hat to ZZ Top.

Yeah, I found Ruby sittin in a yard across the street from my brother's house with a "For Sale" sign in the windshield.
While I expected to see another automatic in the column, when I saw the shift lever pulled down as if in low range, and then saw the clutch pedal, I fell in love!!
$600 later I'm pulling her into my shop introducing my wife to "the other woman"
Haha

Cedar!!
I'll bring some cedar and a 40 lb salmon.
Enough cedar (it's red and will look good in Ruby) to do your truck bed and a piece left over to bbq the salmon on.
Nuthin' like smoked salmon for xmas dinner! LOL!!
