Hello from Amarillo Tx

Hey everyone new here obviously. I want to become part of this forum to learn more about the mechanical part of building a car or truck. I know the body and paint of it. I have been painting for several years now. I recently finished my 1957 gmc pick up with a fleetside bed this year of course its not painted haha. Not sure if you would call it a rat rod or a junk yard dog. It has a chevy 305 nothing special pulled it of my buddies grandmas car 1978 nova. I know its not much of a motor but id like to build it up first before i ever decide to put something else in there. Im still learning like i said i was actually proud of myself for installing it and making it work with the old wiring in the truck. I did alot of reading. Anyways im sure ill get alot of help here when it will come to questions about my projects and my 305.
