Hello - FNG here!

I'm for the most part new here. I've been a registered member for some time now and this is my first intro.

My hotrod is a little different from what I've seen posted. I have a 1970 Datsun 510 with a Buick turbo v6 from my old GN. I've slacked on this project for a couple years now. The latest excuse why it isn't done is due to a lack of welding gas. There seems to be a wealth of knowledge on this board and I hope to tap into some of that knowledge to help me with my restomod.....and help contribute back as well.

My father has recently asked me to take on a project that is very near and dear to both of us. He has recently located and offered to have his Great grandfathers car. All I know is that its probably from the 50's and appears to be a Chevy sedan. Any help in identifying this car is appreciated. I know the pictures aren't the best. But it's all i have until I can take time off and see the car for myself.

Thanks for the welcome. I found an old post on another board pre computer crash and I think its a 1949/1950 chevy fleetline. The documentation i have shows it as possibly being a 4 door coupe But i'm surprised by the amount of info i've been able to find on the net.

I was afraid i wouldnt be able to find patch panels. Looks like I might be wrong.
