Hello folks....
Just a short introduction of myself and my truck....
I own a 97 Chevy C1500 with the 5.7 vortec....I bought it from my brother-in-law a couple years ago for $700. It came with 2 cracked heads, cracked timing chain cover, busted water pump and in need of some serious TLC. The body is in decent shape (or was  ) ....the interior was filthy....actually had a 3 inch layer of sticky gunk in the pass floor board!  Well, I jumped into it with both feet and sunk about $1500 worth of parts, doing all the work myself. Had her running soon after and she has run like a champ since....until now!  Which brings me here. Look forward to talking with everyone....hopefully all my questions are easy fixes....and maybe I can throw in a cent or 2 worth of advice every now and then myself.
