hello from oregon

H everyone.
I am the head of a family who loves classics and hot rods. After many years in the military and slowly colecting parts I now have the time and funds ( still on a budget) to start getting projects on the road. I will be starting on my wifes 56 chevy stepside going from all original to a nice cruiser, and finishing off my 85 ( yes I know its not that old) chevy c-10. from there will move on to the 72 firebird and 68 chevelle. I have noticed some good info on here about blower motors and will be attempting my first for my chevy, so will be picking some brains.

Welcome, and from an Oregon hot rodder going back to the late 50s. On my current ride, a street/strip 29 A Tudor with a 4:71 blown SBC, I made about every mistake imaginable during the build, and BEFORE finding Hot Rodders Bulletin Board. You have tapped into, in my experience, the premiere web site for learning how to, and not to, build a streetable blown motor. So, as you move forward, listen to the advisors on this site about blown motors, they are excellent.
