Hellwig rear anti-sway bar

Hi guys!

I want to put a rear anti-sway bar on my 68 firebird and summit lists one by Hellwig that will supposedly fit. Is this a good company? Any fitting problems?

I've had a Hellwig rear bar on my truck since '99. It works and I've had no issues with it...

A 1" bar will make a huge change in the roll coupling. Most leaf spring cars don't require a rear bar. David Pozzi has some good info on this:

I have installed three of them over the years, no problems of any kind. Two of the cars were leaf spring one was coil, was pleased with the results on all three.

Thanks the the link. Looks like I don't need to put one on my car after all. I'm not setting the car up for autocross and according to the article, it looks like the standard suspension will work for me.

We ran one on our Nova for a couple of years and figured out it was the reason for several unexpected losses of control.
