I chanche the crank shaft of my ford sable 93 the transmission was fine before but now has hard downsifht from 3 to 2 i don't know if the position of the torque comberter has something to do. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

if you installed the engine correctly into the trans . the converter studs should be easyly moved from side to side to make a rattling noise . if you could'nt do this . the engine was installed into the trans wrong. a common problem when installing ford engines. the taurus and sable do have a lot of problems with these trans you may need an over haul.
