re: Help

never tried one, if you are looking to get a cheap gun, I have heard that Sharpe makes pretty good cheap guns. The main thing is if you can get an even spray pattern. You also have to keep it super clean, it doesnt take much to mess up the pattern by having a dirty gun. You get what you pay for though and I doubt the durability of those guns are very good. Think about it this way, if you are going to spend a ton of time and energy getting a car ready to paint(not to mention the cost of materials) why would you chance the outcome on a $50 spray gun? Usually these cheaper guns use more paint and that alone will pay for the more expensive gun in one paint job. Look at getting a primer/topcoat combo. I really dont see the need for two topcoat guns for a beginner/hobbist.Plus you are going to have to prime the car as well. I used the same topcoat gun for base and clears for years with no trouble. KEEP YOUR GUNS CLEAN!!!! Spend another $100 dollars and get something name brand.
