help
ok guys i just painted my elco, and now i have someone wanting me to do thiers. how do you come up with a fair price.its a color change from silver to white ,he wants to buy everything so its just a price for labor,body work, and painting.i want to come up with a fair price, im no pro, but i dont want to work for free.

Carguy, just factor in how much work it is for you and how much you will enjoy it. If its hard work, hard on your body factor that in. On a complete color change I charge anywhere from 1000+ depending on graphic, flame, or any customized variation. Metalic colors are much harder to paint and since your doing a full color change you'll need to do doorjams and etc so it won't be an easy job. I say at least $500 for the job, more if you yourself is doing all the work. 500-700 without supplies sounds fair in my area, but everything here is priced a bit higher.
