I always geared my car to get peak RPMS at the end of the straightaway ... Do you have a set of scales ? 4 separate scales ... ( one under each wheel ) is almost a requirement to be successful today on the racetrack ...

When I first bought my sprint car, I went to the track and asked around if their was anyone that would be willing to help me setup the car for the first time. I not only got more help than I needed I made some great friends that I still stay in contact with today.I dont know your background but this worked for me,no one knows the local track than the racers that run there.Good Luck Johnny

Check out the boys at Speedway Motors or Longacre Racing. Circle track is their specialty. Just do a google search on their names, and their sites will come up.

Probably going to need a adjustable powerband

heres one on kalecoauto.com for a great price.

you may also want to look into getting a set of cross drilled brakelines so you can slow down from all the gained hp from the adjustable powerband.

good luck
