help with cam and manifold

Got a 57 chevy truck 350, .30 over, fuelie heads, 9.5-1 compression, edelbrock 1406 cab, hugger headers, super 40 flowmasters, 700r4 trans. Need help picking intake and cam. Truck is going to be a driver. I have performer rpm intake now but is ther a better choice?

The intake you have is fine. As in a cam tell us what you want. Do you want a lopey idle but still good street manners? Do you intend to stay with the stock torque converter? What's the rear gear ratio?

Going for mileage over hp never going to race truck. Going to be a daily driver that I can have fun in. Would like it to sound good. As for the converter I believe its stock. Have to check on the rear gears it’s the stock axle that came in truck.

Couldn't be easier. Find out what rear gear ratio you have along with stall speed of converter you have. Call cam company of choice and tell them what you have and what you want to do.
